Isle of Music – A Magical Musical Adventure!

Isle of Music is a fun and educational card game created for kids aged 8 to adults to discover the world of Western music through joyful play. Players hop into a magical flying teapot and visit four imaginative islands—Monkey Drum Jungle, Nation of Piccolo Birds, Land of Octopus Harmonium, and Cat City of Harps. On each island, musical animal friends challenge players with trivia and musical tasks. The game was thoughtfully developed in collaboration with Mrs. Thivanthi, a Western Music teacher and passionate music enthusiast, and is based on key ideas from the Sri Lankan Western Music syllabus for young learners.

How to Play

• On your turn, roll the dice to travel to an island or flip a challenge card.

• Draw a card and either answer a trivia question or complete a fun musical challenge, such as humming a pitch, clapping a rhythm, or naming an instrument.

• For Trivia questions about musical instruments, the fastest player to respond and answer the question can win an instrument card, or spend collected rewards to claim one!

• The fastest player is selected through special sticky hands!

• Bonus cards bring surprises like extra turns, sneaky shortcuts, or instant wins.

• The first player to collect one instrument from all four islands wins the game!
